Abstract:	Business incubators have gained prominence throughout the world as they have shown themselves to be important environments that favor the emergence of innovation and consequently promote local and regional development. In Brazil, it is estimated that there are approximately 363 incubators of various modalities focusing on the emergence of innovative ventures. Within this context, the legal framework for Brazilian Innovation states that scientific and technological institutions, including universities and federal institutes, should promote the emergence and spread of innovation, including by means of incubators. Some incubators focus their actions exclusively on businesses with an innovative social impact. The main purpose of these businesses is the mitigation of the social vulnerability of the local communities where they operate. This end-of-course paper therefore seeks to submit a proposal for the creation of an impactful technological business incubator for the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Brasilia, São Sebastião campus, with the main purpose of contributing to the promotion of the local development of the region, in addition to providing professional qualification to the students of the institution. To this end, the methodology employed in this proposal was a qualitative and participant research with primary and secondary data sources, a literature review and documentary research, generating a technical report to support the creation of the incubator as technological product. The obtained results therefore enabled the suggestion of a proposal for the creation of an incubator suited to the mission and the responsibilities of the institution, such as a contribution to the development of the region.
