A leitura da literatura no Distrito Federal : mapa cultural

Abstract

Esta reflexão objetiva a apontar, visualmente, quais são, onde estão e como funcionam as iniciativas culturais, no tocante à leitura, especificamente, à do texto literário, tomando a região geopolítica abrangida pelo Distrito Federal. No intuito de mostrar cartograficamente tais iniciativas culturais, o presente trabalho estrutura-se em dois grandes blocos. O primeiro deles explicita a fundamentação teórica subjacente ao tema proposto e relata as “andanças” feitas; o segundo, a sequência das leituras dos instrumentos para a sondagem dos dados que levam à construção do Mapa Cultural. O destinatário desta pesquisa cujos resultados são apresentados em forma iconográfica, com a finalidade de não deixar um espaço sequer sem o atendimento de leitura no DF, são, principalmente, os organismos governamentais interessados em conhecer seus agentes culturais que operam para a melhoria da quantidade e da qualidade de leitura em geral e da recepção da literatura, em particular, no DF. Com tal produto, a sociedade leitora e não-leitora têm um diagnóstico das lacunas a serem preenchidas e ocupadas com novas iniciativas de incentivo ao inestimável ato de ler e de fortalecer-se cidadão. _________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT

The ongoing reflection aims at visually pinpointing cultural initiatives pertaining to reading, particularly as regards the literary text, taking place in the geopolitical region of the Federal District, in an effort to show where they are to be found and how they work. With the goal of cartographically displaying such cultural initiatives, this paper is based on two large units, the first of which focusing on the theoretical foundation for the subject under consideration and all relevant moves towards that end, while the second bears on the sequence of readings of the instruments for the analysis of data conducive to the making of the Cultural Chart. This research, whose findings are shown in an iconographic manner lest every single space should be unprovided with reading opportunities, is mainly intended for government agencies interested in getting to know their cultural agents who prove active in enhancing both the quantity and quality of reading overall and, chiefly, reception in literature in the Federal District, thereby enabling the reading and nonreading public to be provided with a dignosis of the vacuum to be filled with new initiatives capable of fostering the inestimable reading practice and strengthening citizens.
