| Abstract: | Para definir e classificar as artes, há quatro vetores tradicionais na Estética:1) o caráter mimético;2) a restrição dos sentidos de captação das obras;3) espaço e tempo;4) a liberdade na criação artística. Esses vetores podem estar escondendo outro, de que pouco se fala: como a arte é usada para legitimar e auratizar o poder, especialmente daquele que não se legitima por si, que precisa dela para subsistir. O poder prestigia a arte que o prestigia, ele dá poder a quem e ao que lhe dá mais poder. |
| Abstract: | To define and classify the arts, there are four traditional factors in Aesthetics:1) the mimetic character;2) the restriction of the senses to perceive the works of art;3) time and space;4) freedom in art creation. These factors may elude another one, about what rarely is spoken: how art is used to legitimate and give glamour to power, specially of power that does not legitimate itself, but needs art to persist. Power gives prestige to the art that gives prestige to him, power gives power to whom and to what gives more power to him. |
