Abstract

Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar a ação parlamentar das deputadas no Congresso Nacional, relacionando sexo, temáticas de atuação (através de dados sobre sua presença em comissões e proposições legislativas apresentadas) e instrumentos de atuação das mulheres nas diferentes instâncias da esfera decisória entendidos como meios de acumulação de capital simbólico. Trabalha, mais especificamente, com dados referentes à presença das parlamentares na Câmara dos Deputados na 52ª Legislatura (2003-2006) e propõe que as formas assumidas pelas relações de gênero influenciam, através de limitações e/ou ampliações das possibilidades, a entrada e trânsito de mulheres nas esferas legislativas. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT

The following research focuses on the analysis of questions related to gender and the parliamentary action of women in the Chamber of Representatives in Brazil, relating sex, thematic areas of their work (through information about their presence at legislative commissions and propositions presented) and instruments for their action in different instances of the decision-making sphere, understood as ways of accumulating symbolic capital. It works, more specifically, on data about the presence of parliamentary women in the Chamber of Representatives on the 52nd Legislature (2003-2006) and proposes that the forms assumed by gender relations influence, through limitations and/or increase of possibilities, the entrance and transit of women at the legislative spheres.
