| Abstract: | With the growing awareness that water is a limited natural resource and significant economic value, sustainable and rational use of techniques are increasingly widespread. Among them, the use of treated sewage effluent (TSE) for irrigation purposes stands out both for the reuse of water, as the nutrient supply to the soil and reducing environmental damage. This study aims to evaluate the effect of the TSE, from toilets of a refectory in sweet pepper (Capsicum annuum L.), hybrid canary F1. We evaluated the uniformity of distribution of water from a drip irrigation system, the amount of nutrients added to the soil, the chemical and physical changes of a oxisol and development of plants and fruits in a crop cycle. The treatments were: Stream of water, TSE, stream water based fertilizer, TSEs based fertilizer, topdressing with TSE and TSE with topdressing and base. The use of TSE does not interfere with uniform distribution ratios and statistical uniformity coefficient of the drip irrigation system. At the end of the experiment, the trend is that the phosphorus, organic matter and pH in soil irrigated with TSE presenting the highest elevation in relation to treatment with irrigation stream water. The wet mass, circumference and total production of chilli fruits are higher in treatments irrigated with TSE. The application of TSE without chemical fertilization results in increased production and high fruit. The irrigation with TSE provides greater production of fruits of yellow pepper and improves chemical soil conditions. The use of TSE provides benefits in the development and culture of production of yellow pepper and improves chemical conditions Oxisol. |
