Classificação de documentos arquivísticos : trajetória de um conceito

Abstract

Estudo sobre a trajetória do conceito de classificação de documentos arquivísticos. Buscou-se a compreensão do seu desenvolvimento na literatura e no pensamento arquivístico. Trabalhou-se com a idéia de que a classificação em Arquivística é caracterizada, por um lado, pela quantidade cada vez maior de documentos acumulados pelas instituições e, por outro, pela necessidade de fundamentar as soluções de organização e recuperação dos registros documentais nos princípios consagrados internacionalmente. Os vários momentos da classificação de documentos arquivísticos refletem, muitas vezes, o clima epistemológico da época em que foram criados e aplicados. __________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT

Study on the trajectory of the concept of archival classification. It searched understanding of its development in literature and the archival thought. That worked with the idea of the classification in Archival Science is characterized, on the other hand, for the amount each bigger record time accumulated for the institutions and, for another one, for the necessity to base the solutions of organization and recovery of the documentary registers on the principles consecrated internationally. The some moments of the archival classification reflect, many times, the climate of the time where they had been created and applied.
